Cash for Kids is a Children's Charity owned by TFM Radio & Magic 1170. Money is raised throughout the year involving a range of campaigns and events.

Last year we supported over 26,579 local children achieving over £670,000.

The money is distributed by a board of Trustees throughout the year. This process is via an application form.

The Charity aims to make a long-term difference to the lives of local children who are either sick, have a special need or live within severe deprivation.

 
Eligibility Criteria    

1. TFM Radio & Magic 1170’s Cash for Kids exists for the sole purpose of helping children 0 – 17 years of age who are either sick, disabled, have a special need or live within severe deprivation.

2. Grant applications can only be made to children/or groups that help children in the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and South County Durham area.

3. Consideration for grants will only be given to children or registered organisations that aim to help children up to the age of 17 years who are sick, disadvantaged and underprivileged.

4. The Trustees reserve the right to consider all grant applications individually and on their own merit and from time to time add to our main grant making criteria.

5. Favourable consideration will be given to those projects which directly benefit a number/large number of children and/or positively increase the quality of their lives.

6. Successful schemes will be of good quality with careful consideration being given to the safety and well being of children.

7. Grant applications must be accompanied by the most recently audited annual accounts of the organisation seeking the grant or last bank statement and payslips of any individual.

8. Timing of Applications:
Applications are submitted on an ongoing basis. The Trust meets several times a year and will reply to successful and unsuccessful applications shortly thereafter.
