The DLT Show

Saturday - Sunday: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Every Saturday & Sunday morning from 10am until 1pm on Magic, radio legend Dave Lee Travis and his trusty sidekick "Dangerous" Dan bring you madness and mayhem, competitions, and the best of the 60s, 70s and more.

Profile

Born in Buxton (his mother was heavy with child and on the way to Manchester!) DLT grew up in Manchester and began broadcasting 43 years ago.

His first radio job was with BBC Pop North. He joined Radio 1 a year after its launch and stayed until 1993. (DLT and John Peel were the last two of the original line-up to leave).

His TV appearances include regularly presenting Top of the Pops and Celebrity Squares. More recently he has turned down the chance to appear on ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ – twice!!

DLT's Cadillac Giveaway Charity Challenge

Amazingly, after a lot of convincing by Dan and by listeners to the show, Dave agreed to make his beloved car an on-air prize, but only if our charity - Magic's Cash For Kids - could raise £10,000!

...and together WE DID IT!

So Dave gave away his car, as promised!
