Location: Billingham The Festival of Fun and Friendship. 8 days ofspectacular concerts as the best Folklore Ensembles from all over the world gather in Billingham to demonstrate their cultural heritage in the form of music, song and dance in wonderful, colourful traditional national costumes. Participate with the international groups in "Youth Dance Workshops", "Adult Dance Course", "Uncle BIFF Club" for children. Time: 10:00:00 to 04:00:00 Location: Redcar & Cleveland College, Corporation Road, Redcar Redcar Model Rail Show back! Cleveland Model Railway Club’s New Show is in a brand new building at Redcar and Cleveland College on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August. Since loosing the venue for our annual show after 2004, the Boosbeck-based club is getting steamed up for this new show of working model railways, static exhibits, demonstrations and traders from our own club members and from all over the country. Our model railways of local stations such as ‘Guisborough’ & ‘Marske’ will show what anyone can aspire to and modelling demonstrations show you how to do it. You can read all about our club layout ‘Jowett Junction’ in the August issue of Railway Modeller magazine. On trade stands, modellers and newcomers will be able to buy all their needs to build a model or model railway of their own. Proceeds of our raffle will go to the Great North Air Ambulance.
