| Cleveland Model Railway Club Open Day (CHARITY EVENT) | |

Time: 10:00:00 to 16:00:00 Location: Miners Institute, Boosbeck Cleveland Model Railway Club will be opening its doors once again to anyone interested in railway modelling at its' clubrooms on Boosbeck. Several club and member layouts, including the incredibly detailed 'Guisborough' and the large club layout 'Jowett Junction' (which both featured recently in Railway Modeller magazine) will be on show plus demonstrations, second hand stall and refreshments. Disablled access is avilable and day membership is £1 for adults and 50p for children. At around 2.30 p.m. the Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Coun. Ray Goddard, will be presenting a cheque to the Great North Air Ambulance Service for £661.04 which was raised by the Club at its recent exhibition at Redcar and Cleveland College. So, whether you are a keen railway modeller, new to the hobby or just want a good day out, come along and talk to the club members about any aspect of this absorbing hobby or even about membership of the Club..
